Award-winning book designer, art director and food aficionado, I have worked on more than 50 illustrated titles. I started out as a junior at Head of Zeus before becoming the Art Director at Absolute Press/Bloomsbury Absolute, imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing, for 5 years. Since April 2021 I've been freelance and fancy free.

I design illustrated lifestyle books, with a speciality in cookbook design.  From art direction to design to hand-picking and project managing creative teams, I have always been very tactile and love incorporating exciting (budget-friendly) product finishes into my cover designs, working closely with the print production team to bring projects from the screen to life.

 

As an experienced art director, I pride myself on forging strong relationships within the creative teams I put together as this makes for formidable ingenuity. My little black book of creatives is bursting the best photographers, food and prop stylists, illustrators and creative agents in the industry. I also prop source and prop style on shoot myself, working alongside the author and photographer.

Currently freelance, I am based in East Sussex and happy to travel wherever I am needed.
